Needless to say, studying is literally all I've been doing this past week. Studying, however, is actually really hard. I mean, what am I supposed to study first when I have 300 years of history to memorize when only a tiny bit of what I study will actually be on the test? I studied really hard for my History final, and after I took it, I realized that I didn't use the right studying techniques. I focused so much on studying for the essay part of the exam that I basically forgot that there was more to the test than the essay. And while I did study for the multiple choice questions, I didn't spend nearly as much time on it as I should have.
Well, in case you wanted to know, my grade didn't plummet to a zero. But next year, I know that the first thing I'm going to do for finals is to map out what to study first and balance my time between each section of the test.
